The Sirens head to the County Ground in latest league fixture

Sunday's match in the FA Women's National League Division One South West will be held at the County Ground home of Swindon Town FC men.

It will be the third time Southampton have faced the Robins this season but the first away from home.

Swindon Town women are just three points behind the Sirens in the table and a win on Sunday would keep them in line for a possible top four finish.

The two sides come into the game in varying degrees of form.

For the Robins they picked up seven points from a possible 12 and will feel disappointed to have not earned a win in their last outing against Moneyfields.

Swindon raced to a 2-0 lead over the Hampshire side thanks to leading goalscorer Annie Colston scoring twice.

Former Southampton player Gemma Simmonds reduced the deficit before half-time and it was the visitors who took the game by the horns.

Kim Whitcombe bagged a second-half brace to ensure the three points headed back to the south coast.

For Aaron Smith's side they won just one game in March a 4-1 victory of Selsey at the Snows Stadium.

The empathic win was followed by tough games against Moneyfields and Cardiff City where the Sirens walked away with two draws.

It was shortly followed by two disappointing defeats to AFC Bournemouth in the league and to Southampton FC Women's under-23s in the Hampshire Women's Senior Cup.

Last Sunday the Sirens returned to league action away to Maidenhead United and youngster Gabri Tchuenkam showed her composure in front of goal to put the visitors ahead.

Magpies winger Megan Halfacree quickly levelled things up before the hosts took the lead early in the second-half.

Tchuenkam was at it again as she raced through onto Hope Suominen's ball to coolly slot home and earn the Sirens a point.

So far this season it's been Southampton who have been the happier of the two.

The two sides met back in October at AFC Totton where Sian Wylie scored twice as the Sirens ran out 4-0 winners in the league.

Three months later the two sides lined up again this time in the FA Women's National League Plate competition.

Southampton were the home side but this time the two sides walked out at Redbridge Community School.

Brittany Jeal scored twice that day as the Sirens were 5-2 winners to make it through to the quarter-finals.
