El Reid has parted ways with Southampton Women's FC as she joins the Editorial Content team at Southampton FC.

Reid has been a Siren for six seasons since joining as a player for the U16s.

She then went on to captain the Reserves and made a total of 50 appearances across both Senior teams.

In February this year, Reid stepped into the role of Head of Media having supported with online club content for the previous two seasons.

Club Chairman Aaron Smith commented: "El has been part of the furniture at this club now for many years. Her knowledge of the female game is excellent and we are truly going to miss her."

"I would like to thank El for all of her hard work and loyalty to the Sirens, and wish her all the best at Southampton FC where I know she will shine."

"But this again shows how we are supporting our staff. El is the next person in a long line of people that have come into our team of staff, and have then gone on to attain paid jobs at professional clubs."
