Three years ago, Southampton Women’s FC took a bold step as the club unveiled a new identity, introducing the Sirens as our official nickname. This BEGUN a new era of this football club.

When introduced in 2022, the club set out key aims going forward with this identity.

We are a women’s football team.
We are committed to playing good football.
We are here to win.
We are proudly from Southampton.
And we are not Saints.

This bold new brand gave Southampton Women’s FC a clear, independent identity in a football city, setting us apart while strengthening our connection with players, supporters, and the community.

Inspired by the mythical sea creatures of Greek legend, the Sirens symbolise both beauty and danger. As well as playing the game the right way, while shipwrecking anyone who dares to enter our waters.

As we look to the future, Southampton Women’s FC will continue to build on the Sirens name, ensuring it remains a symbol of pride for our players, supporters, and community.
