Southampton Women's FC head to Devon to take on top of the table Exeter City in the FA Women's National League Division One South West on Sunday.

The Sirens' first test of 2024 is a tough encounter following the postponement of the match away to Keynsham Town.

Exeter currently occupy the top spot and have yet to drop a single point as they look set to fight AFC Bournemouth for promotion to the Southern Premier.

The Grecians have been a constant goal threat this season, scoring in every fixture in all competitions.

In their last two outings Exeter were 3-0 and 6-1 winners over Abingdon United and Swindon Town respectively.

Jenna Markham and Sarah Stacey lead the scoring for City with 19 goals each while a further 14 players have registered at least one goal this term.

For Southampton Sunday's game will be their first league encounter in three months which was against Exeter as well.

The Sirens have had their league campaign hampered by progression in cup competitions and the weather.

Jamie Lloyd Davies' side have recorded just one league win so far as they sit just one point outside of the relegation zone.

In their last six matches, Southampton have won four and lost twice with the defeats coming against Championship side Watford and Billericay Town of the Southern Premier.
