Erin Bloomfield scored a brace as Southampton Women's FC ran out 5-0 winners over Bitton AFC in the Women's FA Cup on Sunday.
The Sirens broke the deadlock after 18 minutes with Ellie Chaffe scoring her first goal for the club before Bloomfield doubled the lead before the break.
Izzie Thorogood extended the lead in the second-half before Britt Jeal chipped the goalkeeper for a fourth which was followed by Bloomfield getting her second of the game.
Southampton travelled to Bristol off the back of a 6-1 defeat to Exeter City the previous week and Jamie Lloyd Davies named an unchanged starting 11.
Bitton had the first effort on goal but keeper Sara Luce had the shot covered as the Sirens then fell into their natural rhythm.
There were plenty of opportunities carved out by the visitors but Bitton's defence and keeper were active at denying a shot.
16-year-old Lilly Wellesley-Davies headed wide from Ellie Chaffe's cross before Jeal saw her looping shot parried over by Bitton's number one.
With 18 minutes played the breakthrough came.
Kaitlyn Cousens had driven out of defence, intercepted a clearance and found the feet of Bloomfield who turned the defender before crossing low for Chaffe to sidefoot home for her first goal in Sirens colours.
The hosts tried to hit back quickly but their right-back's shot was wide.
Bloomfield had a plethora of chances to extend the lead but was stopped in her tracks on several occasions which included a good save from the keeper that had the striker putting over the rebound.
The former Yeovil Town forward did get her goal though in the 34th minute.
Jeal reacted positively to overturn possession and then combined with Meg Wood on the wing to get forward the attacking midfielder fired the ball into the box for Bloomfield to tuck home.
As the game headed towards the break Wood was forced off with an injury to her collarbone as she fell awkwardly from a tackle as she tried to break forward, Lucy Coalter replaced her.
The hosts made a change at the break which seemed to work for the opening exchanges but they didn't find a way through as the visitors regained control of the match.
Substitute Coalter had a glorious chance for her first goal as Bloomfield broke into a dangerous area to the square for the attacker who had an open goal but her shot looped agonisingly over the crossbar to the disbelief of everyone in the ground.
Emma Whitlock was having a great time in midfield as she controlled and dictated play as the link between the defence and attack.
Southampton got a third in the 64th minute as yet again Bloomfield broke through and then cut the ball back for Thorogood to tuck away.
That signalled the end of Thorogood who was replaced by Caitlin Bevan before Lauren Knight come on to replace the captain Chloe Tucker.
It wasn't all one way traffic as Bitton went close from a free-kick before Chaffe shot from 30-yards out that forced a good save from the keeper.
As the game drew to a close Jeal found the net as her chipped shot got the best of the keeper, Bloomfield assisting for the third time.
The goal started at the back with Luce who picked out Whitlock to switch out to Bevan who then found the striker to thread the ball through for Jeal to finish.
Bloomfield then wrapped up a top attacking performance from her as she bagged her second in the 89th minute.
The win sees the Sirens progress into the First Round Proper of the Women's FA Cup where they will host Brentford on Sunday 12th November.
