Southampton Women's FC travel to Essex on Sunday to face Billericay Town in the FA Women's National League Plate Second Round.

Following the recent rainfall the fixture was reversed to ensure the completion of the match to avoid a further backlog with the Sirens needing to reschedule three league games.

Billericay sit eighth in the FAWNL Southern Premier and will be familiar to Southampton after the two sides met in the Quarter-Finals of the League Plate last season.

Town come into the game having picked up their first win in all competitions in three games on Wednesday night.

They ran out 2-0 winners over Haringay Borough in the County Cup which followed a run of three defeats in the league.

To reach the Plate Second Round they beat Portishead Town 9-0 away from home Amber Gaylor recording a hat-trick against the Possets.

The Sirens head into the game boosted with the return of Shannon Sievwright who got her first minutes of the season playing for the Reserves in their League Plate fixture against Rugby Borough.

Jamie Lloyd Davies' side have improved their form with only one defeat in their last six fixtures in all competitions which included a comfortable 5-0 win over Bitton in the Women's FA Cup.
