Maidenhead United are the visitors on Sunday in the Second Round of the Adobe Women's FA Cup where a place in the next round is up for grabs.

The winner will host Watford of the Championship in the Third Round as well as earn £8,000 for their club.

Southampton Women's FC finally booked their place in the Second Round with a 4-3 against Brentford after two postponements.

The Sirens stormed to a 3-0 lead in the first-half thanks to a hat-trick for Meg Wood.

Wood scored two from range before completing the hat-trick from the penalty which took two attempts as the referee asked for the first to be retaken due to encroachment.

The Jersey book attacker dispatched the second penalty and Southampton looked set to cruise into half-time however, the visitors pulled one back and they took that euphoria into the second-half.

Brentford scored twice in quick succession to draw the scores level within ten minutes of the restart.

Eventually, the game went to extra-time where debutant substitute Olivia Payne was forced off with an injury with just two goalkeepers on the bench for Jamie Lloyd Davis to pick from.

Enter Leah Etheridge, the 17-year-old who plays for the Reserves was called on to make her First Team debut as a striker and in the 115th minute set the team wild as she scored what would turn out to be the winner.

Maidenhead come into the fixture having not playing a game for two weeks their last outing saw them win their First Round match over Sutton United.

United were forced to into extra-time with the scores level at 2-2 after 90 minutes.

Maidenhead took the lead through Imogen Fisher but Sutton were not done as they soon made it 3-3 in the 110th minute Macey-Nikiah Walters was brought on and scored the winner within a minute of coming on.

General form for the Magpies is similar to the Sirens as they sit just one place above the Seasiders two points ahead having played one more game.
